TRS Working President called upon party workers and the leaders to participate voluntarily in large scale to make the proposed Bharat Bandh programme on December 8 a grand success.
Addressing the media here at Telangana Bhavan today, recollected how his party had opposed the agriculture bills in the parliament. “But the BJP bulldozed it in Rajyasabha and passed it”, he said and urged the party leaders in specific and public in general to make the Bharat Bandh a grand success since it is in the interest of the farmers.
He also appealed to the members of Rythu Bandhu Samithi to ensure that farmers in large numbers to come out in support of the striking farmers in Delhi. He also appealed to the traders and businessmen to voluntarily close down their establishments for at least 2 hours to express their solidarity to the farming community.
KTR while instructing his party leaders to be stationed at all the highways and ensure its seizure appealed to the vehicle owners to cooperate with TRS leaders in support of the bandh.
He also appealed to the farmers to hold discussions and debates at every village on the contentious issues in the new agricultural laws.
