KTR to inaugurate Integrated Command Control Centre in the city today

DGP Mahendar Reddy is inspecting the arrangements for the inauguration of Integrated Command Control Centre on Wednesday

The prestigious State Police Integrated Command Control Centre is all set to be inaugurated by the Minister for Municipal Administration KT Rama Rao today at 11.30 am.


Built under the Safe and Smart City project, the Police Command Control Centre has been built to integrate all the operations of the police in the state including integrated public safety, operation and data centre etc. The Minister for Home Mohd Mahmood Ali and Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy will also take part along with top cops DGP Mahendar Reddy, tri-City Commissioners Anjani Kumar, Sajjanar and Mahesh Bhagawat etc.

The DGP accompanied by other officers Additional DGP Jitendar, DCP Shamshabad N Prakasha Reddy, DCP Crime Rohini Priyadarshini, DCP Traffic SM Vijaya Kumar and L&T Officials inspected the complex to take stock of the situation. The Command Control Centre is equipped with over 5000 CC Cameras to monitor the law and order situation in the city on a gigantic screen with 14 meters height and 4.2 meters width erected in the control lab. In addition to this, 9 tv screens will be installed in 3 rows the screen of each with 70 feet/55 feet capacity which can be viewed by 20 people at a time.

L&T is also installing over another 10,000 CC Cameras in all the 3 police Commissionerate limits and link them to the Command Centre for monitoring purpose.
