Lady Constable Rajya is seen feeding the hapless woman after she was found in a dire state on street with her 3-month-old infant in Moghalpura

In what can be called as a humanitarian gesture, the city cops have once again proved that they not only care for law and order but also for those hapless victims of fate as and when the situation demands.

In one such incident, a lady constable of Moghulpura police station Rajya found a middle-aged unidentified lady with a 3-month-old infant in her hands in a dire state on the street. Moved at her plights, the lady constable took her to the police station and offered her food. But she was so week that she couldn’t even eat herself. The lady constable fed the woman with her hands.

Posting this heart-wrenching photograph on his twitter handle, the Kotwal Anjani Kumar tweeted: “Looking at this, eyes became wet of all those present. Felt so proud of the colour of khaki”.

The denizens responding to the tweet showers appreciations on the lady cop and the city police in general. Some of them demanded action against her family members for leaving her to her fate on the street.

Meanwhile, the SHO Ravi Kumar informed that she had been sent to Shishu Vihar as she is not even in a position to talk. “We will find her details once she recovers from weakness”, he said.
