At last, the much-awaited Dharani portal services have commenced statewide today, declared the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar.
He was an unexpected visitor to the Tehsildar office in Shamshabad only to inaugurate the Dharani services by handing over the Gift Deed registration papers to Manchali Prashanti to mark the launch of services. District Collector Amoy Kumar, Finance Secretary Ronald Ross, Additional Collector Hareesh has also participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary expressed satisfaction that the portal is receiving a tremendous response from the people which is evident from the number of people registered themselves for booking the slots. He said by 10.30 today at least 946 people have paid a fee for registrations while 888 people have booked their slots. He also declared that in the next two or three days, Dharani services would be able to deliver its full-fledged services.
He also said slot bookings can be done by paying just Rs200 through mee Seva centres. Even smartphones can also be used for booking the slots. Today, land sales, gift sales, registrations of heirs of those died, family partisan registrations have been taken up. As for the old registrations, mutations, Nala registrations besides non-agriculture property registrations, the Chief Minister would decide on them soon, he announced.
He further announced that Dharani Services have commenced in at least 570 mandals other than Hyderabad District, wherein over 59.48 lakh papers have been stored in Dharani pertaining to over 1.48 lakh acres across the state.
