Modi accuses Chandrababu of using Polavaram as ATM, calls him a Sticker Babu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi came down heavily on the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu by terming him as a sticker Babu for copying Centre’s welfare schemes and for making Polavaram Project as what he termed an ‘ATM’ for him.

Addressing a mammoth rally in Rajahmundry as part of election campaign today, Modi charged that TDP government is jacking up Polavaram project estimation every year. “BJP in its first cabinet meeting accorded the National Status to the Polavaram Project as per our election promise in 2014 and released Rs 7,000 crore so far. But Babu is not going to complete the project in time as he is bent upon utilising its resources. We can understand why he is doing it. He is using the Polavaram Project as an ATM for him”, he alleged.

He further alleged while referring to Data Stealing Case against TDP government that he is not rendering any service to the people through the ‘Seva Mitra App’ but stealing personal data of the people. He further stated sarcastically that it is the responsibility of BJP to protect ‘AP’s Heritage’ while Babu would protect ‘His own Heritage’ obviously referring to Babu’s Heritage group of companies.

The Prime Minister further stated that his government could able to provide minimum support price to at least 22 varieties of agricultural products by establishing a separate Ministry for the farming community besides issuing crores of Kisan Credit Cards to not only farmers but also fishermen community. ‘My government has also increased the Tax Exemption limit up to Rs 5 Lakhs to the middle-class section so that large scale people will benefit economically.

However, he charged that while we make all these welfare measures on one side, Chandrababu turned Sticker Babu on the other as he copied our Kisan Yojana scheme and renamed it as ‘Annadatha Sukhibhava’. “He is donning a Bhallala Deva character in Bahubali film”, he concluded.
