Modi celebrates Diwali with Soldiers on LOC in JK

Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the Diwali festival today with Jawans guarding the Line of Control (LOC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Incidentally, this day is coinciding with Infantry Day celebrations by the Indian army. 

The PM has celebrated the Diwali with Jawans for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370 and 3rd time since 2014. He has been celebrating the festival of lights with soldiers in different locations on Indo-Pak and bordering China 

Modi tweeted that “Celebrated #Diwali with the brave soldiers of the Indian Army in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. It is always a matter of great joy to be able to interact with these courageous personnel.”
