New recruits exhibit Telangana Culture in HRD Institute

“The Cultural Program and the Fashion Show proved beyond an iota of doubt that the ASOs possess a wider spectrum of skills and that they are fully equipped to succeed in their careers with flying colours”, opined the Director-General of Dr MCR HRD Institute & Spl. Chief Secretary BP Acharya.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Foundation Course for the newly recruited Assistant Section Officers (ASOs) for the Telangana Secretariat at Dr MCR HRD Institute here today wherein the ASOs presented a feature-rich Cultural Program. He further said that the program was greatly instrument in understanding the culture of not only Telangana State but also that of the entire country.

The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, which was followed by Sarasvathi Vandana. The ASOS kick-started the scintillating evening by rendering the most haunting melodies and received a huge round of applause and uplifted the mood of the audience. The ASOS presented patriotic songs and ignited the air with the magic of patriotism and pride. The Bathukamma dance and the dazzling display of colourful costumes received huge admiration from the audience. The Solo and Group Dances proved to be a grand treat for the dance and music enthusiasts.

Fashion Show with a Difference:

The highlight of the program was a Fashion Show depicting the unique culture of different States from across the country. All the spectators were stunned at how wonderfully the ASOs were groomed for the final ramp walk in terms of posture, poise, rhythm, composure, and confidence.

The ADGs of HRD Institute Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka and Dr A Ashok were among other senior officers, faculty, staff, and trainees who attended in large numbers. They later distributed prizes to the winners in various sports competitions.
