NIA arrests 5 suspected ISI activists during raids in 3 states

The National Investigating Agency (NIA) carried out raids across 10 locations in 3 states including Delhi, Karnataka, and Kerala today against a group of people said to be linked to the Islamic State (IS).

The raids followed a new case registered 2 days ago wherein the agencies have launched a massive manhunt for a group of 6-7 individuals said to belong to the dreaded ISI. At least 5 people said to have been arrested in this connection during the raids.

India Today reported that Pakistan is directly targeting the Muslim youth who are vulnerable to social media and recruiting them to plan local attacks and training them online.
