Nalgonda District administration has imposed restrictions for crossing the border at Vadapalli and Nagarjunsagar-Macherla road to enter into the Andhra Pradesh state following the decision of the Andhra Pradesh police to this effect.
According to the district Superintendent of Police Ranganath, no vehicular traffic will be allowed between 7 pm to 7 am every day with immediate effect. He appealed that all those intended to travel to Andhra Pradesh should reach the border check post before 7 pm after which no vehicular traffic will be allowed.
The SP also said that Nagarjuna Sagar-Macherla road, however, had been identified Integrated Road. Hence, he said, no public transport is allowed on the road. The decision has taken following his counterpart in Guntur that not to allow entry into AP from 7 pm to 7 am. He also appealed to the private vehicles, transport and emergency vehicles to carry inter-state travelling pass without fail without which, he said, the entry will not be allowed.
