Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a 3 city visit to personally review the vaccine development and manufacturing process tomorrow Saturday.
He will visit the Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad, Bharat Biotech in Hyderabad and Serum Institute of India in Pune. PM will arrive at Dundigal airbase from where he will reach Bharat Biotech and will return only to reach Pune. Elaborate security arrangements have been made in view of his visit tomorrow. The cops have organised a mock drill throughout the 18 km stretch from the IAF airbase.
As India enters a decisive phase of the fight against COVID-19, The Prime Minister’s visit to these facilities and discussions with the scientists will help him get a first-hand perspective of the preparations, challenges and roadmap in India’s endeavour to vaccinate its citizens.
Meanwhile, his visit to the city has raised expectations of the BJP leadership in the state that it might affect the prospects of the TRS as the visit is coinciding the public meeting of CM KCR at LB Stadium tomorrow. On the other, TRS and Congress is also worried over his possible participation in the electioneering. However, it is now clear that he would not participate in electioneering as his schedule in the city has been confined to hardly one hour.
