The Police Commemoration Week has begun in various parts of the state beginning October 15 in connection with the Police Martyrs’ day to be observed on October 21.
As part of the activity, a mega blood donation camp was conducted in Dornakal in Mahabubabad district by the local police in which the District Superintendent of Police N Koti Reddy attended as the chief guest.
Speaking after inaugurating the blood donation camp, the SP informed that over 300 policemen have donated blood in this connection and appreciated the DSP Suresh Kumar, Dornakal CI Shyamsundar for making the event a grand success.
MEDAK: Police Sacrifices brought Peace in Society: Medak Addl DCP
In yet another event in Medak district, the Additional DCP G Narasimha Reddy said if at all the civil society today is living in peace, it is because of the sacrifices made by the brave policemen who laid their lives for the safety and security of the people.
He was talking to the students of various schools who have visited the police stations as part of the Police Commemoration Week. He explained to the students how to log on to police website online using the link and submit their essay write-ups of each 300 words on the theme “If I were the Policeman”. The essay writing competitions will be conducted online on October 17 tomorrow from 10.30 am to 11.30 am, he said.
SIDDIPET: School Children Visit One Town Police Station
A large number of school students thronged the Siddipet One Town Police Station today as part of the Open House conducted by the Circle Inspector Saidulu as part of the Police Commemoration Week today.
As part of the programme, the CI interacted with the students and the staff explained them about the technology, the utility value of reception, VHF Set, Teleconference, Online FIR, Part Map, Ammunition Store Room, CC Cameras Command Control Room etc. The CI also created awareness among the children about the dangers of Minor driving, Motor Vehicle Act, police bandobast etc.
The Town SIs Srinivas and Ravinder besides other staff members including Head Constables and Constables took an active part in the programme.
DAULATABAD: Open House held in Daultabad
The high school students visited the Police station in Daultabad as part of the Police Commemoration Week today. The SI Chandrasekhar interacted with the girls and boys studying mostly in 10th class and explained to them the functioning of police duties.
They also elicited information from him on various things especially TSCOP app and it’s functioning, CC Cameras Command Control Room, Ammunition utility etc.
They expressed satisfaction at the clean and green environment prevailed in the police stations and they have shown a keen interest in knowing the sacrifices made by cops in the past.
WARANGAL: SP inaugurates Massive Blood Donation Camp
Warangal Police Commissioner Dr V Ravinder inaugurated the massive blood donation camp as part of the police commemoration week in Warangal today.
He appreciated the efforts of the police and the local youth for coming forward to contribute blood for the holy purpose. He also distributed fruits and certificates to the donors issued by the MGM Blood Bank authorities.
SULTANABAD: School Children visit Sultanabad Police Station
Sultanabad Cops conducted the Open House programme on the first day of the Police Commemoration Week today. The students of various schools including boys and girls took part in large numbers.
The CI Mahender explained the kids about the methodologies and the utilities of both services and the equipment/s including the VHF Set operation, Teleconferencing, Online FIR, Ammunition usage, storeroom etc.
The SI Rajesh and other policemen coordinated the programme.
