The total number of Covid positive cases has climbed up to 44 with 4 more fresh cases reporting on Thursday. However, at least one person detected positive earlier was discharged from the hospital besides 21 others tested negative.
According to the medical bulleting issued today, a 49-year-old male, resident of Qutbullapur, Medchal district, travelled to Delhi and returned on March 18 by Telangana Express train. He arrived at Secunderabad Railway Station with cold and fever and went home by auto along with his son. He consulted a doctor at Qutbullapur who had given him Azythromycine and Dolo 650 as medication. But on March 25, he went to the Gandhi Hospital for a checkup where he found positive the next day and has been admitted in an isolation ward. He is stable.
Similarly, a husband and wife both working as doctors and resident of Domalguda were also tested positive. His contacts are Wife, Mother, Father & 2 kids. Mother was tested negative. However, the reports of father and kids are awaited. All the four have been kept under strict home quarantine at Yashoda hospital.
In yet another case of a 45-year-old male resident of Buddhanagar in Secunderabad found positive. He has a history of travel to Delhi. The patient is said to be stable and admitted in designated Hospital.

Lockdown: As per the directions of Chief Minister, the strict lockdown has been declared & implementing across the State. The police department has been allowing only emergency staff for their duties after thorough verification. The Residents are permitted to acquire daily essentials within 1-3 km of their residence.
