Prabhas adopts Khazipally Reserve Forest, Minister lays foundation

The Forest Minister Allola Indra Karan Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar laid the foundation stone for the Urban Forest Park in the 1650 acres of Khazipally Reserve Forest located Near Dundigal 20 KMs far from Hyderabad.

The park has been adopted by the popular Telugu cine star of Bahubali fame, Prabha as part of his earlier announcement during the Green India initiative which he took part along with its promoter MP Santosh Kumar. They went around the reserve forest and climbed atop a watchtower besides planting sampling in the forest.


Forest department is going to convert a small portion of the Forest into Urban forest park while rest of the forest is going to be conservation zone. Khajipalli reserve forest is known for its medicinal plants and it’s extended in 3 compartments. A fence will be erected around the entire 1650 acres immediately and start developing Eco-park. Constructing park gate, see-through wall, walking track, viewpoint, Gazebo etc.
