Pulwama terror accused seeks bail to write NEET exams


The 20-year-old Pulwama terror attack accused Waiz-Ul-Islam has filed a bail application as he wants to appear for NEET exams. However, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) opposed the bail application saying that he executed the attack that claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel on February 14, 2019. The court may take a decision on September 3 in this regard.

According to the ANI report quoting the NIA as saying that the accused Waiz ul Islam disclosed that he used his Amazon shopping account to procure chemicals for making IEDs, batteries and other accessories on the directions of the Pakistani JeM terrorists and he had personally delivered the items to JeM terrorists after procuring the incriminating material online as a part of the conspiracy to carry out the Pulwama attack.’

It further revealed that the accused had completed Class 12 two years ago and was preparing for competitive examinations. His father is a serving government employee.
