Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed officials concerned to strictly implement the lockdown in Hyderabad and its surrounding places as there is more spread of Corona Virus in these areas.
“Strict regulations should be maintained and implemented without any compromise”, said KCR adding that along with Hyderabad, villages bordering or neighbouring Kurnool and Guntur districts as the virus is rampant in these neighbouring districts of AP. “Appoint special officers in these border districts and see to it that nobody enters the state nor leave it”, he said.
The CM held a high-level review meeting here on Wednesday at Pragathi Bhavan on containment of Corona Virus and implementation of lockdown. He said: “The situation in the State is under control except in Hyderabad and its surrounding districts. The spread is less in other districts. All the new cases being reported are from Hyderabad, Medchel, Rangareddy and Vikarabad districts. Hence the officials should put more focus on Hyderabad. Whoever is having symptoms they should be given treatment and all those who came in contact with the positive cases should be quarantined. Ensure strict measures so that nobody from Hyderabad should go out nor outsiders enter into Hyderabad. Appoint sharp police, IAS and Medical and Health officers as the Special Officers. Round off entire Hyderabad and eradicate the Virus,” the CM said.
