Hyderabad, Jan. 8 (Telemedia) : In a significant development on Thursday, the Central Administrative Tribunal issued orders to retain two IAS officiers Amrapali and Binoy Kumar in Telangana State only. The order was issued in response to the plea made by both the officers who approached the CAT against the decision of Kamalnathan Commission who alloted them to Andhra Pradesh. Subsequently the CAT had dismissed the orders. As sequel to this, one more IAS officer who had been allotted to Andhra Pradesh approached Tribunal today seeking a posting in Telangana.
Meanwhile, Telangana State government has written a letter to the Union government seeking to retain four IAS officers including the GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar besides. Besides, the government has also sought to relieve four other IAS officers working in Andhra Pradesh as they belonging to Telangana state. It is said there are few more IAS and IPS officers allotted to Andhra Pradesh are planning to approach CAT against the Kamalnathan Committee decision.
