Screening test held for minorities to impart free UPSC coaching

Telangana State Minorities Study Circle held a screening test for sponsoring 100 candidates from the minority community for the All India services examinations coaching. Under this scheme, candidates are selected through a screening test which was conducted throughout Telangana State on Monday.


Advisor to Government of Telangana, Minorities Welfare & President TMREIS AK Khan along with Director, TS Minority Study Circle & Career Counselling Centre Shahnawaz Qasim and Secretary TMREIS B Shafiullah visited the test centre at TMR Khairatabad Girls School in the city today.

Expressing his satisfaction over the arrangements made for the smooth conduct of the test, AK Khan said he was delighted to see more number of girls coming forward to participate in such competitive examinations. He said that the empowerment of minorities was only possible through education and the recent trend of enhanced awareness among girls and their interest in education was a positive sign of community development and empowerment.

Later, he interacted with parents and students after the test and motivated them to avail this golden opportunity. At least 100 candidates will be selected through this screening test who will be sponsored to join the institutes of their choice from the empanelled institutions.
