‘Seetharamula Kalyanam’ held in Bhadradri as part of Sri Ram Navami

The much-awaited annual holy ritual of ‘Seetharamula Kalyanam’ was held in low profile at Seetharama temple in Bhadradrachalam commemorating the birth anniversary of Lord Sri Rama on Thursday owing to the amidst lockdown in the state.

Though the ritual was held on a grand note inside the temple, none of the devotees could witness the holy ritual except for pundits and temple authorities. The Ministers Allola Indrakaran Reddy and Puvvada Ajay Kumar have presented the Pearls, Sarees to Lord Rama and Seetha on behalf of the state government.

Thanks to the threat of Coronavirus, the holistic ritual has to be a closed-door affair. The Vedic pundits recited hymns.

The others who attended the event include MP Malothu Kavitha, MLA Podem Veeraiah, ZP Chairman Koram Kanakaiah besides Advisor to the state govt KV Ramana Chary, Endowment Commissioner Anil Kumar, District SP Sunil Dutt and Temple EO G Narasimhulu.
