Hyderabad, Oct.18 (Telemedia) : State government is making elaborate arrangements to receive the first batch of 350 pilgrims returning from Haj yatra at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Monday. Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali along with other dignitaries will receive the pilgrims on thier arrival. Over 6000 pilgrims had left from Hyderabad this year through 18 Haj flights. The last flight will arrive on 3rd November.
A rousing reception is to be given to them upon their arrival. The Deputy CM today reviewed the arrangments with the higher officials of various departments. He appreciated the arrangements made at the Haj Terminal and advised the officials to ensure more effective and foolproof arrangments are made. Director Minorities Welfare Department Mohammed Jalaluddin Akber, Special Officer Telangana State Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Commandant Anil Dande and Dy. Commandant CISF Janb Yashwant Singh, Saudi Arabian Air Lines officials Iftekhar Ahmaed and K. Prem Kumar besides GMR representative Yshpal Singh and others were present in the review meeting.
