The High Court today extended the stay on registration of non-agricultural properties in the state. However, it said the registrations can continue but in a previous manner.
Hearing the petitions on the Dharani portal, the court in response to the Advocate General’s argument that registration process has come to a stand still in the state due to interim court orders, said “we have not asked to stop the registrations but security of the data of individuals collected are more important to us’.
The court also further suggested to continue with the registrations but in the old process and postponed the next hearing to December 10th. Until then it is construed that the stay would continue on the registrations of non-Agriculture properties on Dharani portal.
