Though the government attempted to conduct examinations in the month of May but had to stop in the middle due to court orders. Subsequently, the Department of School Education has constituted an 8 member committee to suggest the government in this regard which had submitted its report recommending to declare the results without conducting the examination this year.
The GO clearly stated that all those candidates registered for Science, Vocational and Practicals may also be awarded 35% qualifying marks to be declared as passed. However, the GO also permitted those students who wish to attain additional marks may appear for the improvement as and when the department announces the schedule depending on the Covid situation.
