Sujana Chowdary owns 124 acres in Amaravati: Botsa Satyanarayana


In a startling revelation on Tuesday, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana released the list of lands owned by an industrialist-turned politician Sujana Chowdary.

Sujana Chowdary was elected to Parliament on Telugu Desam ticket and defected to BJP recently. He challenged the Botsa Satyanarayana claiming that he doesn’t own even single cent of land in Amaravati. However, the YSRCP Minister who took the challenge seriously and today revealed that the former TD leader owns 124 acres on Benami names.

He said that 14 acres have been registered in the name of a daughter of MP’s brother in Gudimetla village of Chandarlapadu mandal besides 110 acres were registered in a company’s name owned by the Son-in-Law of Sujana Chowdary in Gokaraju Palem of Veerulapadu mandal in which, the Minister is also one of the partners, he claimed.

Botsa while coming down heavily on the erstwhile government alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had given away over 500 acres of lands to his near and dear ones at the lowest cost of Rs. One lakh per acre and declared that his government would bring out one by one illegal real trading committed by TD government in the name of Land Pooling for Amaravati.
