Surmandal to enthral Gazal lovers in city on Sunday

Surmandal, a Cultural organization will be presenting ‘GULDASTA’ a musical program on Sunday the March 7 at the Historic Moazamjahi market.


According to Principal Secretary Aravind Kumar, the GULDASTA program is being organized to pay tribute to Late BP Singh, the Ex-Director of city-based VST Industries who played a vital role in spreading art and culture throughout the country. He passed away last week in Delhi due to cancer.

Ms Vibha Hegde, a young talented Hindustani classical vocalist along with Arnab Bhattacharya who will be performing on Sarod while Ms Poorva Guru will present famous Sufi and Ghazals.

Surmandal is a music organization patronised by Late Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan sahib in the 1960s. He migrated to India from Pakistan during the partition and made Hyderabad his permanent home.
