In response to the devastation caused by the floods in Hyderabad due to heavy rains, the Tamilnadu government has announced a sum of Rs10 crore to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
In a letter to the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao here today, the Tamilnadu CM Edappadi K Palaniswami said “At this difficult time, on behalf of state government and Tamilnadu, I convey my heartfelt condolences to family members of all those who have lost their lives in the rains and floods. As a token of solidarity and support from the government and the people of Tamilnadu to the people of Telangana in this hour of need, I have ordered for an immediate contribution of Rs 10 crore from the Chief Minister Public Relief Fund to the Government of Telangana. We are also sending blankets and mats as relief material to the affected families”.
KCR Thanks Tamil Nadu CM
The CM has thanked his Tamil Nadu State Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami for his gesture of announcing Rs 10 crore help to the State, which suffered losses due to heavy rain and floods. The CM also thanked his TN counterpart for planning to send blankets, Quilts etc.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao appealed to the industrialists, traders, business establishments and others to come forward to extend their help to people who suffered due to heavy rains and floods in the city and donate generously to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
