Telangana kid makes it to Australia’s mountain peak, Kosciusko


In yet another major achievement, a Telangana mountaineer Angothu Tukaram created a record of sorts by climbing up Australia’s highest mountain peak Mount Kosciusko.

According to the initial reports available, Tukaram reached the mountain peak on the day of Holi yesterday and unfurled the Indian flag there. Earlier, he appealed to the world to help Australia to emerge from its recent forest fire disaster that engulfed almost half of the country and help preserve and protect its survivors and the animal wealth.

He expressed his thanks to the Hyderabad-based Chinna Jeeyar Swamy Trust supported Jet Helping Hands Soceity for sponsoring his achievement. The significance of his achievement lies in his objective which was aimed at protecting the survivors and the animal wealth in the recent disastrous forest fire.
