Telangana Congress party appealed to all sections of the people to back Congress party in the ensuing byelections in Dubbaka and in the MLC elections to save the state from the atrocious ruling of KCR government.
The TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy while giving a clarion call to his party workers and leaders during a virtual interaction declared that he would stay in Dubbaka till the byelections are over and said he would not rest unless the Congress party comes back to power in the state.
Coming down heavily on the KCR government for his lopsided policies and arrogant attitude of KCR, Uttam Kumar said the time has come to say goodby to the KCR’s ruling. He cannot continue to rule by supressing the voice of opposition and the people whoever questioning them.
He urged the party leaders to expose the misdeeds and failures of KCR government especially the LRS scheme and the rehabilitation of displaced Mallanna Sagar residents issue. The other speakers who have spoken also stressed the same.
Uttam also declared that the names of the aspirants to be contested in the Dubbaka byelections had been sent to the high command for approval. The name of the candidate will be declared once the nod comes from the high command, he said.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar in their speech urged the people to accept the cash from the TRS party but vote for Congress. The others who spoke on the occasion include Bhatti Vikramarka, Ponnam Prabhakar, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Jeevan Reddy, Geetha Reddy and Dubbaka Constituency coordinator Narsa Reddy and others.
