TRS activist sets himself ablaze over denial of B-form

A TRS activist of 14th ward in Medchal attempted suicide by setting himself on fire after pouring kerosene at Ambedkar statue this morning.

The incident sent shockwaves among party leadership in view of the larges scale dissension prevailed within the party over the B-Forms issue. According to information available, the TRS leader identified as Vijay had resorted to this extreme step after he was denied B-form by the party leadership. He had already filed his nomination papers and was hoping for party’s B-Form. He was aghast on learning that somebody else had got the B-Form, he had decided to commit suicide. However, he was saved by his associates and was shifted to hospital for treatment.
