The Minister for Health Etela Rajendar has appealed to the people not to venture out of their houses unless it is essential.
Making an appeal to this effect through a statement here today keeping in view the growing number of Covid positive cases in the state, the Minister cautioned the people about the fast-spreading deadly virus and cooperate with the government by strictly adhering to the Covid guidelines for preventing the spread of the virus.
He asked people to wear face masks without fail at all times and not to forget about washing hands and sanitizing surroundings regularly besides getting a vaccination for those above 45 years of age. “Any negligence on part of those affected in taking treatment may prove costly”, he warned adding that his government has kept an eye on those who migrated from other states like Maharashtra, Karnataka etc. and appealed to the people to inform them about any such suspicious case if found.
