Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao has announced the setting up of an exclusive state-owned multi-speciality hospital on the lines of NIMS in Gachibowli area in the name style of Telangana State Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (TSIMS&R)
Announcing this here at Pragati Bhavan after a Cabinet meeting today, KCR said that the Gachibowli sports village complex spread over 9.16 acres has been converted into an exclusive COVID-19 hospital with 1500-beds for time being.
The cabinet today has decided the convert the same into a unique multi-speciality super hospital under the control of the Department of Medical and Health named as Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (TIMS&R).
The complex currently has 540 rooms. Once the hospital is completed, the medical needs of the people in those areas will be met with.
