
Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan today summoned the Vice-Chancellor of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences at Warangal Dr B Karunakar Reddy and enquired about the galore of allegations with regard to the admission process.
It move has come following the spate of allegations that the University had done injustice to the Telangana students by allocating admissions to Andhra students in local quota. The Governor who summoned him today at Raj Bhavan has enquired about the MBBS admissions process and instructed him to safeguard the interests of the meritorious Telangana students in MBBS admissions.
The Governor was responding to a series of representations from the students of Telangana regarding the MBBS admissions in the State.
Meanwhile, the AICC Spokesperson Dr Sravan Dasoju thanked the Governor for intervening in the matter as he complained to her yesterday about the injustice being meted out to the meritorious Telangana Students in respect to the admissions.
