TSat airs a Special Program on Covid19

As part of the state government’s fight against the Covid19, the state-owned Television channel TSat has aired a special interactive programme with the officials of the Health and Family Welfare Department on the “measures to prevent the Coronavirus” in the state.

During the programme, the Director of the department Dr Sudheer explained in detail as to what measures need to be taken to prevent the spread of Covid19. He reassured the people not to be panicky about the virus and instead follow stringently the measures such as avoiding direct contact with others and maintaining cleanliness etc.

The CEO of TSat Shailesh Reddy informed that programme had a good response from the people with over 36000 people watching at a time for 3 hours duration. With this success, he said many more such educative programmes would be telecast through TSat.

The others who participated in the programme include Joint Director P Rajiv, CVHO Dr Sravan Reddy, and Unicef representative Sri Krishna.
