Vijay Dairy gets 32 acres in Mamidipalli for 99 years lease

The state-run Vijaya Dairy has been allocated a 32-acres of land to enable it to set up an ultra-modern Mega Dairy Farm in Mamidipalli village in Ranga Reddy district today.

A Memorandum-of-Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Director Animal Husbandry Laxma Reddy and the Managing Director of Vijaya Dairy Srinivas Rao in the presence of Secretary Anitha Rajender and the Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav here in Secretariat today.

Later the Minister informed that the lease would be for 99 years and Mega Dairy would set up its state of the art production unit at a cost of Rs250 crore to produce more number of Vijaya brand dairy products. He also asked the MD to prepare a proposed production model design and submit it to the government for approval.
