Visakha seer demands action against anti-Hindu campaign in Tirumala

The seer of Visakha Sarada Peetham Swamy Swaroopanandendra Saraswati demanded Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy to inquire into the ‘Bus Tickets Episode’ at Tirumala.

In a statement issued here today from Rushikesh, the Visakha seer expressed shock and dismay upon learning that the bus tickets at Tirumala bus stand contain non-Hindu religious campaign messages published on the back of it. He took severe objection at this and demanded an inquiry into the whole affair.

He also said the matter has already been taken to the notice of the Chief Secretary in this regard and wanted CM YS Jagan to personally monitor the inquiry and initiate action against those responsible while reminding that the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy had issued orders in the past banning non-Hindu religious campaign on Tirumala hill shrine.
