Bharatiya Janata Party chief Bandi Sanjay demanded Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao to reveal the names of those trying to create communal clashes and arrest them immediately.
“Being a Chief Minister himself, he could have arrested the perpetrators if he has definite information about them. Instead, he is giving media statements which are nothing but he made a mockery of CM’s position”, said Bandi Sanjay.
Addressing media after paying floral tributes to the former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao at his memorial this morning as per the schedule announced yesterday following a statement of the MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi that they would demolish the PV Narasimha Rao and NTR ghats, Bandi Sanjay charged that “It is clear that CM himself is devising disturbances so that elections can be halted as he is sure of losing the elections”.
He also accused the CM of playing dramas by not filing a case against MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi for making such a statement against the legends like late PV and NTR who strived hard for the Telugu pride. “Moreover, TRS is celebrating PV Centenary which is only an eyewash as he could not take action against Akbaruddin for his remarks against PV. Similarly, KCR has named his son after late NT Rama Rao. He has now turned Drama Rao. Instead, he is finding fault with the BJP which has come to the rescue of both PV and NTR although both did not belong to my party”, said Sanjay.
Terming the MIM party as Desh Drohi party by giving shelter to Rohingyas, Pakistanis, Afghanis and Bangladeshi in the old city, the BJP leader demanded DGP to declare that they were any illegal immigrants staying in Hyderabad or not. He recollected the inauguration of 108 Rohingya camps in the old city by the Home Minister Mahmood Ali, Bandi Sanjay demanded an explanation from the CM on this. “TRS party is in collusion with MIM is providing shelter to the illegal stay of Rohingyas, Pakistanis, Bangladeshi in the city”, Sanjay said adding that “CM vows explanation on this”.
