Youth Congress activists on Thursday stormed the official residence of Home Minister Mahmood Ali at MLA quarters in Banjara Hills demanding his resignation for growing atrocities on women.

They gave a shock to the security forces by storming inside the premises and barged into his residence giving a tough time to the security men on duty. The activists led by MLA Sampath Kumar, however, were arrested and sent to Gosha Mahal stadium.

Meanwhile, Home Minister who was not present at home spoke to the Congress leader Sampath and assured that stringent action will be initiated against the culprits and no one will be speared however big he may be, said the Minister.

He quoted several instances of rape and murder by the ruling party leader in Hyderabad and Khammam district accusing the state of becoming like UP.
